Do the republicans in congress have the guts to stand up to Trump, or do they passively agree

with what he said. I think it's the latter.

4. I think, for some, it depends on whether or not trump or miller have a dossier on them

I'm convinced there is a whole boneyard worth of skeletons rattling to get out and start dancing around.

5. They are racist, but they don't really like or respect Americans in general.

They think we are immoral, waste money, and drink a lot.
(Sen Grassley made that clear, and I think he speaks for the GOP)

But the bottom line, the only thing the GOP cares about is money/power.
The rest is immaterial to them.

7. I think they sold their souls to Trump

Had they refused to back him from the beginning, he never would have made it. But they were afraid of the base so they sold their souls to Trump.

8. the *only* thing they object to about donnie is that it might not play well.

they don't disagree with donnie in the slightest.

they only worry that it doesn't "look good" and that might hurt them in the polls.

put another way, if it helped them in the polls, or at least if it didn't hurt them in the polls, they'd be totally fine with it.

they'll stand up to him the minute extensive focus group testing shows that that's the safest way to keep their seat and not a minute before.

Quite the reverse.

11. My take is this,

if you have been following the stories about how the Russian Hacker Farms are running at hyper speed . And today we see it is the Senate that has been compromised by these Hackers. Rubio was concerned months ago,and nothing has been done. So Putin is giving Trump the Ignorant, the nasty about certain Senators,or are these Senators fully aware they have been had.

They're paid/bribed to agree by various outside special interests. They'll take money for anything from anyone. The more, the better.

horrifically deceitful operation.
