Not for your safety, but because I usually tell Republicans I never have to see again what I think of Republicans in general, and where they can go. And what they can do to themselves. One dude told me he would pray for me after I called him a traitor. I told him I didn't want anyone praying to Satan for me. Of course he is over 65 and has GUARANTEED HEALTHCARE.

Republicans want to take away my healthcare because a bunch of Fox Lies Watching Racists hated the black guy who used to be in the White House. You remember. The guy who actually acted like a president.

My hatred for Republicans, the Republican Party, and what they truly stand for is seething. SEETHING.....

You cut regulations so polluters can pollute more while the area where I grew up burns every year. My friends houses burn, and burn, and burn, but Republicans do nothing.

Help your locals register new voters. We have less than a year to get this done.
I know from experience. I have COPD. I received a lung transplant last Sep. It was a life-saver as I was not expected to see Christmas. I lived in a city in Northern Colorado and was struggling to breathe. Oil companies would not reveal what chemicals they were using in nearby fracking wells. Those chemicals were "proprietary secrets". I and a very smart woman who was concerned for her children's' futures started a webpage, started a 501c(4) non-profit org to solicit money and soon had volunteers to make and put out signs, and knock doors. We solicited twice the required signatures to get a ballot initiative and we beat the oil companies.
Let this hopefully become an inspiration to put your emotions to positive use. Our model of organizing against fracking is being used by others around the nation. It has added to the movement. Get angry. Then get organized and allow nothing to distract or change your message.

But I think we also need to lean on Democrats who I'm sure are working hard -- but not hard enough to protect our democracy. They need to get RADICAL and shake things up.

Because I have this nasty feeling a few little protests in the street aren't going to make that big a difference. I don't know what will. And we CAN'T let Trump continue to put ultra-rightwing people on the various courts, which are almost the only thing saving us at the moment.
