This is how the Mueller firing will unfold
He will sign an executive order that abrogates any regulatory checks on his power, and he will grant himself the power to fire Mueller. There is disagreement on this.. But in any case Trump will not give a fuck. Rules/Laws are for little people.
He will fire Mueller. Media will go batshit crazy and every expert will called upon to give his/her opinion. Editorials will be published calling this an impeachable offence and gross abuse of power...we may even have a few of them million people protest marches. Mitch McConnell will hide inside his shell.. After a while Trump will do his next outrageous thing. And sheep will change direction. Mueller firing will become a memory like Comey Firing is now.

3. Why be so negative?
Anything can happen. We do have some things going for us like #fakepresident's 33% approval and an 18% differential in approval for. Democratic Congress over $$$Republicans.
Highlighting negative possibilities does what? Yes, #fakepresident can fire Mueller but if he does he will pay a high price. |

4. So much of this is directly related to the Comey Firing.
It hasn’t been forgotten. It’s set up the string of events that lead directly to your theory.
The firing of Mueller would be big. Not something swept under the table. |

6. We move forward one step in front of the next
On my first day of Economics 101, almost 40 years ago, the first thing said was that there is only 1 immutable rule: everything will change. What they failed to teach at that time was that change was occurring at an exponentially increasing pace.
I could be wrong but the changes to #fakepresident will be overwhelming. We are like a body rejecting a bad organ. The more $$$Republicans resist, the worse it will be for them. |

11. I don't think negativity serves us well.
It generates unnecessary discord and discontent, and that discourages voter turnout. Ok, so one person's negativity isn't going to mean much but magnify that over a million or so naybobs and it can affect thousands of voters.
"Both sides do it so why should I bother?" This is a $Republican tactic. We must reject the negativity. |

18. I agree...and one has to wonder if that is the intent sometimes.
It demoralizes voters.

7. What happens in the mid terms during all this bedlam ?
He will sign an executive order that abrogates any regulatory checks on his power, and he will grant himself the power to fire Mueller.
The courts would surely provide injunctive relief. What is Trump going to do then ? |

15. +1
"He will not break this Republic...we will break him in the end with the rule of law."
We must fight with that in mind. Not for false comfort, but because it is our reality as we fight for what we believe in. |
