Northern Lights for WA? So they say!

I am totally in for this, its been on my bucket list forever, and since I daily get closer to "kicking" said bucket, I'm going out Aurora chasing tonight. We live in northern WA and need to find a clear view of the north as our home is pretty much in a forest...we'll find a pasture and hunker down with our cameras and some popcorn. If I take any cool photos I will share.

beautiful clear skies today and are looking forward to the show! Used to see them in Montana, they are breathtaking.

Watching the Mariners right now. Will go out later to watch the lights. Probably go up to Hansville.

Loads of people all trying to find a place to watch the light show. I've never seen so much late night traffic. The best shots I got were in my front yard looking straight up. Although I did get some very good shots further away from the city lights by traveling west into rural Jefferson county.
