Season of the Osprey - Full Episode - NATURE PBS

A veteran pair of ospreys return home to a Connecticut saltmarsh. Over one summer they must battle their enemies, withstand the elements, and hunt hundreds of fish, all to raise the next generation of these consummate sea hawks. Season of the Osprey premiered on October 27, 2021.

Will watch again, shortly.

Getting sadder, as nothing happening here, but here's otd 2 years ago, trying to replace great nest taken over by geese. Box established by county for owls who've not been interested, but 'my' ospreys tried hard to build nest on top of it. Too windy to succeed, @ apex of 'my' peninsula w creek and river.

There needs to be a real deterrent to the geese taking over the legacy Osprey nest. It might be time to clear that boat-house roof of the rotting vegetation, and give the Ospreys a fresh start.
