I spend a lot of time outdoors and a chunk of that is for birding.

I've run in to these birds quite a bit and most of the time you can walk right up to them before they fly. They are virtually invisible until they move, so 99.9% of the time they flush as you walk past them and they scare the bejeezus out of you.
