Biden says Trump won't accept 2024 election results

Source: NBC News

May 8, 2024, 9:44 PM EDT

President Joe Biden said Wednesday that former President Donald Trump would not accept the outcome of the 2024 election. "He may not accept the outcome of the election? I promise you he won’t," Biden said in an interview on CNN, adding that it was "dangerous."

Biden was responding to a question about Trump's remarks last week in an interview with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "If everything’s honest, I’ll gladly accept the results. I don’t change on that. If it’s not, you have to fight for the right of the country," Trump said.

Biden said about his rival Wednesday, "The guy is not a democrat with a small 'd.'"

Biden's campaign and the White House have previously responded to Trump's statement. And Biden has previously laid into Trump for election denialism, painting him as a threat to democracy. His assertion Wednesday directly predicted how Trump might behave in November.

Acknowledging publicly that the want to be dictator is highly unlikely to accept the results, and that could be dangerous, to me indicates he's letting us know he will take the proper actions to protect the majority of the people should the minority try to use cheating and violence to install tfg even if he loses.

I should have known he wouldn't stand for Shenanigans and Malarkey. In my experience with the Irish side of my family, it takes a lot to truly tick them off, but once they hit the boiling point, they don't even have to use violence. The look on their face alone is enough to warn any person with an ounce of sense to back the hell away.

11. Shenanigans and Malarkey - The look on their face

Had several Irish born and raised Nuns in my past that controlled their classes with only that look.
They never rasied their voices or threatened _anything_.
The look was enough to melt any hooligan in our classes.

They did not want to -find out-

we had a few who were actually kind of mean, although there were some very nice ones too.

3 of my Dad's Grandparents were Irish.1 was Italian. My Dad had the look down pat. He only ever spanked me twice, and I could tell he really didn't want to, so he just started giving me the look as a warning.

It's funny because my half brother was a deputy sherrif. One day he was telling me I needed to learn to stand up for myself more. During the conversation he said to me, "you know I have faced down criminals, but what scares me the most is when our sister gets that look in her eyes. I know she's not violent, but it's still scary." 😁 I said, "oh please you, and Dad," have that same look too. It's not my fault I didn't get it. All I got was my Mom's ability to yell, and no one listens to either of us."

BUT seeing TSF is a coward with a yellow streak 1000s miles wide, it would slobber on the floor begging/crying/shitting itself for "forgiveness"

Trump did not accept the popular vote in both presidential elections.

Both which he lost.

Only reason he became president before was something called Electoral College, which should have been repealed years ago.

It was created as a compromise to the slave states.
When slavery was repealed it should have been repealed also.

no matter what the voter turnout is.

In 2024, California gets 54 EVs. We can count on them to go to the Democrat.

Texas (40), Arkansas (6) and Louisiana (8) total 54 EVs which will go to the Republicans.

One problem - California's voter turnout in 2020 was over 80% of registered voters, while Texas was less than 67%. Arkansas and Louisiana were also less than 70%. So why do they also get a total matching California's 54? If we're going to have this stupid system, shouldn't it be based on the number of people who actually vote?

...right on, he's a fascist with a large 'F'...

...of course the king magat won't accept the election results unless he wins, that's a given...

...what he will have to accept is a prison cell if we can get his ass into one...

...but I'm not holding my breath...
