"SNIP.............

“Donald Trump on Saturday floated the idea of a third term if he wins in November,” Politico reports.

Said Trump: “You know, FDR 16 years — almost 16 years — he was four terms. I don’t know, are we going to be considered three-term? Or two-term?”

“It’s not the first time Trump has mentioned extending his stay in the White House, an idea he suggested while on the campaign trail in 2020. His latest remarks provide more fodder for the Biden campaign, which seized on the comments as it tries to paint Trump as a threat to democracy and institutional norms.”

Of course, he's forgetting the ass whipping he's going to get this coming Nov. 2024 (pardon the language), from Pres. Biden.

Of course tRUMP is getting more forgetful, more demented, as we have all seen.

He said it should not count because people were mean to him.
He deserved two more terms.

Therein lies the danger, really: not in Needy Amin himself as much as in the whole GOP - including the 6 Chicken Supremes.

This time, they're playing for keeps.

Not that he's thinking of winning in 2024 and again in 2028. Of course, folks fall all over themselves, which is exactly what he wants.

He thinks he won in 2016 and 2020 so if elected in 2024 it would be his “third” term.

He wonders if he is elected will it be his second or third term. Which means if he thinks he is doing a second term now, he is ineligible to run. No third term. Better, no second term.

won't save him if he manages to stay alive beyond a full 4 year term. He is terrified he might not die in office (stolen for him by his GOP ass kissers) and might then still face prison.

Those who worked for him and now warn us about him know he won't ever leave office peacefully. He knows his personal freedom depends on him staying in office after his new attempts to steal the WH. Former aids warned us he won't leave if allowed back in.

Personally, if he's so adamant on a 3 term presidency, then why don't we have President Obama run again?
I mean if he's ready to ditch the 22nd amendment then it's works for anyone who was elected 2 times and is available to run again.

They point to all kinds of BS as "proof' of this nonsense. The time of the inauguration, the number of cannons used, the uniforms, etc etc. NONE of which has to do with legality.
But Trump knows this and he's playing to that crowd

Not unless TSF just suspends the Constitution.

Otherwise, it'll take 2/3 of Congress and 3/4 of the states to ratify such a move. And right now 2/3 of Congress and 3/4 of the states can't even agree on what's for lunch.

California is going to lead the way.

You can’t serve 3 terms of a presidency of a federal government that doesn’t exist.
