Maryland Senate - WBAL new poll is really good news

Less than a month ago Larry Hogan had been ahead by double digits against both leading Democratic candidates, Angela Alsobrooks and David Trone.

Further, Trone had been leading Alsobrooks.

But today's 6.00 nooz painted a different picture. Trone leads Alsobrooks by only 1 point.

The killer news is that BOTH lead Hogan. Trone leads by 11 points; Alsobrooks by 10 points.

The Fairy Princess and The Clown will be casting their primary ballots for Angela Alsobrooks.

Its great when you can vote with your head and vote with your heart and support the same candidate.

1. Hogan shot himself in the foot with his protect the borders ad. Why would anyone vote for a polite version of Trumpy

pretending to be a centrist? He'll just be another GOP vote.

5. That is a bad ad on several levels. First, it is just generally off-putting.

Then there is Larry all dressed in combat gear supposedly at the Rio Grand. It might actually have been Back River by the sewage plant for all we know, that he's trying hard to appear as a badass. Sorry Larry. Swing and a miss, pallie.

Then there his snarly "Fed Up" voice. That's just a step away from whining.

I am SO glad he is sinking in the polls.

...he will be a vote for whatever Mitch McConnell, or the next Republican leader, does or doesn't want.

4. At the end of the day, no matter how good Hogan was for Maryland, he's still a Republican.

And we can't reward them with Senate seats from clearing Democratic states.
