Stormy: "No. Nobody would ever want to publicly say that."

Daniels has pushed back on Necheles’ claims—asking her at one point, “Show me where I said that” and accusing the lawyer of “trying to trick me into saying something that isn't entirely true,” according to The New York Times and CNN—and denied Necheles’ assertion that she wanted to publicly talk about her sexual encounter with Trump, saying, “No. Nobody would ever want to publicly say that,” per CNN.

Q: And now you're writing a story about sex w/ Trump
A: "And if that story was untrue, I would have written it to be a lot better"

They went after her hard, and her overall telling of the story over time has some inconsistencies, but she handled it all well.

And all of this story is not a big part of the case. Whether or not her story is true has little baring on Trump's guilt of these charges. And the defense botched this, by painting her as a money grubbing liar, they actually made the prosecution's case stronger. Trump and Cohen had evevn more a reason to pay her off illegally if she was a money grubbing liar.

But I think she is sincere and was taken advantage of by Trump and then they tried to screw her over on the pay off and so she told her story anyway.

She is savvy enough to know how the judicial con game is played. She is standing her ground that only frustrates the TSF's defense team even more.

Brava, Stormy!

We’ve had two weeping willows on the stand that I know of, including Madeleine Westerhout today. But Stormy weathered all the defense thunderstorms rather well throughout her testimony.

Present her as such for the jury to discard her testimony.

I have a feeling there will be some serious judgement handed down on this trial, more than one conviction.

The thing is, the sex is irrelevant to the crimes. It's the accounting and election interference. If they had never met, and she - out of the blue - decided to extort $ from him, the ensuing actions would still be a crime.

They know they won't get an acquittal, so they are going either for an outright mistrial or a hung jury. Barring that, they want something they can appeal and win on, or at least get a new trial wth.

Delay, delay, delay. Anything but a loss and jail is a win.

My wife (58 years married) and daughter (a single lady of a certain age, attorney in DC) have told me from time to time of incidents when men have hit on them. Every woman no doubt has had the same thing that happened between Stormy and Trump happen to them -- maybe not Trump, maybe not an invitation to dinner in a hotel room, but clearly an unwanted advance, often by a co-worker or superior -- every woman can tell you the same story Stormy told, only the date, time, and place would be different.

The women on the jury know exactly what Stormy Daniels is talking about and I suspect they are ignoring the defense attempts to cover it up because they KNOW. Women KNOW this stuff and they never forget it.

Stormy did a good job and held her own against the cross examination.

I was very confident she would handle herself well on the stand. She has been through a lot in her life, understands the way this country works quite well—at least her corner of it—and tangling with Trump in court is nothing new for her.

What I saw was a lot of intelligent introspection and a great sense of humor. She can be as hard on herself as anything Trump can throw at her. I find her very easy to root for and am glad she is acquitting herself well.
