Thank you for this great summary. As I think back in history I realize that demonstrations like this

one in Ferguson MO have often been the catalyst that brought about change. Sometimes it was outright war like WWII. The demonstrations I am thinking about were the ones against Vietnam and our more recent wars, the civil rights demonstrations, women's rights clear back to the suffragettes, the labor movement and its many demonstrations and many I have probably left out.

Let this action by these young people in Ferguson MO bear fruit not only in their own community but throughout the nation. There has been way too much of this type of violence against people who cannot defend themselves from it. And there are too many attempts to restrict the vote and take our rights away. May all these problems be addressed as a result of the courage we saw this past two weeks.

Yes, MN Senate has voted to legalize medical mj for that very reason. I have been lobbying our

reps. That may be one of the hopes we have.

That is a good idea. I did get the quilts done. The whole family has been watching me progress on

them so I had no choice but to get them done on Christmas eve. It was worth it - kids finished opening their presents and then got the quilts which they immediately demanded their daddy put on their beds. I told them that the quilts are "for when you are feeling bad or feeling sad or even when you are feeling glad - then wrap yourself in them and remember all the fun times we have had."

They are my way of being with them even when I am gone. At 70 I thought it was time to give them a connection with me they could have forever.

Years ago Mother Earth News published a recipe for making your own Catsup. I would like to have

that one but am also interested in other recipes. I am asking now so that we can plant the needed ingredients in our garden in the spring. Thanks for ideas.

Need some help. My household is short on food money - we have an idea but need info. I know

that some of you watch shows on the internet. We are going to get rid of our Direct TV etc. if I can find a way to watch the following shows on internet. Do you all have the places I need to go to see them on the internet?

Countdown with Keith Olberman

TYT with Cenk

Rachel Maddow

Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell

Ed Schultz

That is all I watch and I am paying $70+ for it on Direct TV. That is a lot of food for the family.

Thanks to anyone who can help.
