To be really honest with DUers on here, I do not like

Mrs. Clinton. I feel she thinks she is entitled since 2008. The BS she said about President Obama does not resonate well with me but if she is the Dem nominee, she will be better than any republican. Here again, a country with over 300 million people have only two parties, that is not good. The Green Party does not have a chance.

I really hope Mr. Sanders gain momentum and I really want Mr. Biden to run. I was hoping Howard Dean would run, but it seems he is not interested in running.

Some DUers forgot how mean Mrs. Clinton was during the primaries and am glad that President Obama nominated her as SOS.

I really like Howard Dean. Anyone thinks he might run? I find he is very honest and credible!

Keeping fingers crossed that he will run and Biden too!

I am posting this here as I think it is important.

The US will be facing Japan in the women's world cup final. Did you see the own goal England made?

Great that both teams are meeting again as Japan is the defender.

I know, this is not important given the gains that President Obama made over the last week, which is great, but sports is important too.

Some one asked earlier where this cartoon came from!

I copied it from the daily beast but am not able to post it on here.

It is from caglecartons.com

This may be the wrong forum to post this, not sure!

I want to share a beautiful moment with all of you. My daughter encouraged me to go see the Women's World Cup played here in Vancouver between Japan and the Netherlands. The game was really exciting, I was sort of backing Japan and Japan got a goal in the first half and got another goal in the second half. Lo and behold, Netherlands got a goal in extra time, I was happy that they did not go out without a goal.

Let me tell you something, seeing a game live beats anything on TV. Just wanted to share a beautiful moment with you all.

Best regards,

How will the Government of the US put in place a solution to gun control?

It may be a good idea for President Obama to talk to our PM Harper how Canada keeps guns out of the wrong hands. This is just a suggestion from my point of view, I could be wrong. According to the FBI, too many people in the US have access to guns, who should not have access.

Frankly, I do not believe that a 21 year old child should be able to purchase a gun on his/her own.

What I really cannot comprehend is how young people

feel so much animosity against people of colour. Most young people I meet day to day, colour does not matter. Somehow, this kid had to learn to hate from home, otherwise he would not have done what he did. Imagine you are sitting with people in a church for 45 minutes, listening to them preaching the God's word, and then suddenly decided to shoot them. It does not make sense to me, that kid is seriously unbalanced!

I do not know if anyone on here cares about the guy with the armoured

vehicle who attacked the police, blaming them to take his child away! He was so frustrated at being deemed a person of domestic violence. When his dad was interviewed, he did not agree with his non! And the interviewer asked that the son should have got help. And you know what is mind boggling -- the dad (and am paraphrasing) said, where does a white guy go for help. That is so true! Society is focussing so much on women that the men get left behind! Not only that, too many women punish fathers from not seeing their children and the courts need to address that.

Anyone know if Lyric met his goal to buy the mobile home?

LOL, DU is pretty funny, they ask for contributions but you

are not supposed to voice an opinion. When you do, they lock your thread.

Pretty pathetic and they call themselves Democratic Underground. Go figure.

Best site ever with the nicest people but man, DU is not democratic, it stifles conversation that does not suit its agenda!

I might be banned forever, who knows! Was nice meeting you all and I hope NYC gets back in, he is a great guy. He was always nice to me when I had a question.

Best regards and do not give up!
