Do you think Bernie and/or Hillary should come out against the International Monetary Fund?
The IMF has long been involved in different nations and their fiscal matters. These nations are often the under-developed nations that rely on support abroad because of the lack of resources they have. Often times, banks set up hideous schemes that back-log nations into significant debt. The IMF comes in and decides that in order to "help" these nations out, they must cut their domestic spending. That spending cut affects hospitals, schools, and dramatically increases poverty and income inequality.
The IMF also forces nations to move towards an export-import system where locally distributed food/crops now have to be exported to, often times, wealthier nations and they often don't allow for those exporting nation to have any significant tariffs as imports move in their nation. That creates the possibility of increasing trade deficits which degrade world index values for these nations.
The IMF institutes 'user-fees'. These fees affect families, especially women, as costs of education and healthcare sky-rocket. As income gaps widen, families are left deciding which bill they should pay and which service should they sacrifice. Undernourishment rates also increase as the vast majority of people are left with a limited amount of options for their basic needs.
The IMF also ignores our environment. Because they promote nations exporting resources, our forests have been decimated and underground resources like oil or coal have also been overly-exploited.
In the meantime, the IMF also ensures that when multi-national corporations(MNCs) are in trouble, they will get bailed-out in one way or another. They're outdated and incompetent belief is that they can receive the most accumulated wealth and invest that capital into the under-developed nations. Instead, these MNCs focus more on driving their profits to higher levels and storing that wealth in offshore accounts or taking advantage of other nation's anti-labour policies.
It is long past due that we come out in stark opposition to the IMF and their policies of imperialist destruction. And I hope that either Bernie and/or Hillary oppose these policies as well.
District 7 in CA needs everyone's help.
We are in serious danger of losing a seat in the House. Ami Bera is running unopposed on the dem side, however his opponent is a right-wing, anti-immigration nut. Unfortunately, Ami supports TPP and is backed by lobbyist money. Many voters in this district are furious at Ami to the point that many will not vote for him come November. Either we need to find a challenger before June(although it's probably too late now), or we threaten Bera with our votes in order for him to yield to our working-class agenda.
We don't want Scott Jones to win, but if Ami keeps up his third-way bull---- than his political career will end on November 8th.
Wanna see a real-life version of the effects of establishment politics in another nation?
Look no further than to the Philippines.
As we speak, they are about to elect a possible dictator named Ridrigo Duterte to the presidency and bring about things such as death squads, heavy drug punishment, and other authoritarian ideas including starting a sea-war with China.
His opponents are no angels either. They are extremely corrupt as can be, with the amount of bribes the other candidates take in. They are moderates who are seen as the status quo and the people in the Philippines have had enough of that. Income inequality is out of control and citizens are not represented as big money has crippled the political structure of the Philippines. The establishment in the Philippines restricts progressives from having any influence in the gov't because of the opposition to the corruption the progressives in the Philippines have in their beliefs.
With having no other candidate to turn to, the people saw this egotistic guy who uses straw-man arguments and makes controversial statements(google it). This candidate embodies change from the status quo according to many voters. They see him as their savior like some saw Marcos.
This is the Philippines' version of a political revolution and honestly, I'm scared as fuck for my family there. A lesson to the United States, please don't fuck this up. The same shit can happen and it won't be a celebration.

Yes we can get angry about the corrupt system we have by working to get money outta politics!

Bernie Sanders hasn't given up on you or me, so please don't give up on him or the movement! This isn't just another primary campaign, this is the changing of the guard. This is the LAST hoo-rah for the establishment, so let em' have at it Hoss!

That US Senate Debate
was a complete dud. Kamala was vague at times, Ron lost many voters on his immigration stance, and Sanchez had some decent points, but turned out to be a DINO on many issues. Not one of them mentioned the impact of money in politics, breaking up the big banks, the need for single-payer, and the need for $15/hr minimum wage(Ron opposed it but said $12 is enough--which we know isn't). When they asked about free public tuition for students, not one of them supported it above the community college level.
We don't have any strong progressive candidates in the race as of now which is extremely disappointing considering our so called progressive nature of politics. Overall, very discouraged by that debate.

When establishment types complain about us having purity tests...
You're goddamn right we have purity tests. We want politicians who work for US, not the lobbyists or the political elites. Anyone who criticizes others for purity tests of politicians have no backbone and no standards for how our political system should function.
