more pics of the sanfran march!!!! |
these are from some right wingnut's blog. he's using them as a reason to blast the anti-war movement. here's the url...he's pretty disgusting, blasting us peace lovers as unamerican because we equate the bush admin to the third reich, yet he has no problem with calling california a communist state: http://www.right-thinking.com/comments.php?id=P292_0_1_0here are some of the pics:

Wouldn't it be nice if just once, on some issue, the Bush administration came up with a plan that didn't involve weakened environmental protection, financial breaks for wealthy individuals and corporations and reduced public oversight? -- Princeton economist and New York Times columnist Paul KrugmanI think it would be a good idea. -- Gandhi, when asked what he thought of Western civilization

1. I made the mistake of following the link to the blog... |
...and now I need a shower. I live and work in a liberal, educated community. It's always a shock to encounter the ugliness that apparently pervades much of the rest of America. The SF march was a joyous event that united people from a huge diversity of social, economic, and political positions in support of a common hope for peace, and in many (if not most) cases, a common desire for better government in America. Marchers danced down Market Street. The sense of community was palpable. This sneering wingnut must have carried an incredible load of ugliness around with him all day as he searched for ways to filter the most beautiful aspects of the march through his twisted cynicism. His comments about the happy middle-aged couple posing with their protest sign are especially black-hearted. This was a glimpse of the dark side....

4. Its just because now they realize |
Now there are forced to confront the fact that they are totally out-numbered.These are the same people who have been talking about a "Bush mandate" .. so its crushing to them to have to face the fact that the other side is not just the majority.. its a HUGE majority. After living in a fantasy world for so long, its very hard for the media to face reality, especially when reality shows up with hundreds of thousand of Americans!
