1. "double post" |
sad, sad.....I posted this a few minutes ago as well._____________________". . . then there is a moment of total darkness before you step through on the other side. ." --Lewis Jenkins "The notion that a radical is one who hates his country is naive and usually idiotic. He is, more likely, one who likes his country more than the rest of us, and is thus more disturbed than the rest of us when he sees it debauched. He is not a bad citizen turning to crime; he is a good citizen driven to despair." --H.L. Mencken

6. "The last time I saw Ken" |
was about 5 years ago. I told him how much I liked his book, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". He said to me, "You should read Sometimes a Great Notion", that is a much better book." I still haven't read this one (yet). As a tribute to Ken, I'll be sure to give it a try once again. Rest in peace Ken and fare you well!

9. ""Sometimes a Great Notion" is a MUST read" |
It is the best book I have read in my life(so far; I'm still at it). Do yourself a huge favor and check it out of the library today.

5. "The Prankster passes..." |
The van of Merry Pranksters is on its final tour today... to join the pantheon of Great American Authors.I, for one, will pay tribute to his life. <--- The Zomby ponders the significance of the giant cup of coffee. Woof! He said."Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say that there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and THAT is the basic building block of the universe." --- Frank Zappa "THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS" - sign affixed to Woody Guthrie's guitar "If you don't know what I mean, won't you stand up and scream, 'cause there's things going on that you don't know." --- Ronnie Van Zant
