Bay Area Houston Blog A blog for the South Houston area formerly called Clear Lake. Contains the NASA area and Tom DeLay's newly formed district, and the soon to be Nick Lampson's area. Check this blog for up to date information on Tom DeLay, NASA, and other candidates in the Bay Area Houston.

Brains and Eggs -- is named after my grandmother's favorite delicacy. I'm PDittie here and PDiddie there and elsewhere. I blog mostly about national and Texas politics, with the occasional sports/cultural observation thrown in.

a Brown Bag Blog -- is the home of Bucky, a DUer since 2001 even tho for some bogus reason my profile only says I've been a member since 2002, but as a Democrat I've grown weary of demanding recounts. I mostly blog about arts, education, politics, and the fact that PDittie's real name is Perry Dorrell.

Carnival of the Liberals -- Carnival of the Liberals is a biweekly blog carnival devoted to showcasing the best of liberal blogging. Send in your best recent posts today. A new edition every other Wednesday.

Com•Log•ic -- I am known as MagickMuffin. My site is dedicated to all the blunders, slips of the tongue, gaffs of the Bush Regime. Their words will now come back to haunt them. A combination of Comics, Logic, and Blogging. The intention of this blog is to showcase all the various scandals that are affecting/effecting/infecting our nation. The main focus will be a series of comic book styles; published on the web, video, and print.

Dwight Spencer's Blog -- This page is the daily digestion of world news and the opinions of the namesake. Discussion of Iraq, spin, world politics, and personal ventures into the world of activism.

GuvWurld Blog -- This is advocacy journalism - writing about GuvWurld's work for change in a way that furthers that pursuit of change. The main focus is using election reform as a tactic to pursue Peaceful Revolution. The Voter Confidence Resolution originated at GuvWurld.

The Official Impeach Dubya Blog --This is the eponymously named Impeachdubya's blog. Commentary, satire, and foul-mouthed humor. Written from a freethinking, community-minded yet socially libertarian perspective of irascible commitment to civil liberties, individual rights, and the questioning of authoritative dogma... Plus it gives me a chance to occasionally vent, which is nice.

Juice for Justice -- This is emlev's blog dedicated to helping people become involved in working for progressive social change. Tips and resources for those who want to make a difference but don't know where (or how) to begin. Comments welcome.

Liberal Elite -- This is November3rd's anti-war blog about politics and religion.

The Modern Day Cynic -- This is Sammyblue's political blog. (warning: EXCESSIVE AND HARSH LANGUAGE!!!)

Neural Gourmet -- Neural Gourmet is an online community of modernists, progressives, freethinkers and humanists. We champion open, honest conversation, critical thought and the scientific pursuit and argue these as the best tools with which to build our future, understand the present and reflect on the past. It is by these values and goals which we strive to identify ourselves; rejecting those whose identities are circumscribed in superstition, fear and hate.

Observations of a Professional Observer -- InaneAnanity's personal blog. Not entirely political, no foul language.

Professor Smartass -- Yurbud's political blog with random doses of satire, photoshop revision, and in extreme cases, poetry. A couple of my essays have made the headline at

TayTV Media Blog Blogging about politics and religion with a delicious dose of video.

Puffin's Place Puffin's Place includes thoughts, video, and info about a variety of current social, political, and ethical issues. Comments welcome.

This Research Forum topic is for the posting of all Member blogs. Please, when you post, hyperlink the name blog, your DU name and the topic of the blog (politics, culture, sports, etc). This is for amateur blogs who want to make DU aware that the members blog too and the professional (like Americablog or DailyKos) aren't the only ones.

Great idea, SammyBlue. I have added a direct link to this topic in the Research Forum Introductory Page. --Skinner
