Wisconsin Recall Sigs submitted on 6 Repukes, 3 Dems
Man it's exciting to live in Wisconsin!!!

<snip>

Meanwhile, another recall campaign targeting a Democratic senator missed its deadline Tuesday for filing signatures to force the senator into an election.

Come Thursday, when the campaign to recall Sen. Robert Cowles (R-Green Bay) is expected to file, that will leave at least nine state senators - six Republicans and three Democrats - with recall signatures filed against them and facing possible elections.

In all, three Democrats, and possibly four, have now escaped having signatures filed, and at least three campaigns are still active -against two Republicans and a Democrat.

2. Yeah Buddie!
I wish there were more Republicans being taken down. Too bad Scott Walker can't be thrown out, but his time is coming.

4. the Headline's misleading...
the Rethugs have not managed to submit signatures for ANY Dem candidates. And i hear the Dems WILL be submitting for Grothman, that'd be 7 of 8 for the Dems and 0 for 3 for the Reps.

:)

6. We really need to help fund the Dems campaigns on this...
Apparently Darling and some of the Republicans are raising a lot of money (surprise, surprise!) to fight off their recalls, while the Dems have a lot less money to work with. It sounds like the grass roots need to make up those differences to help fight them off in this age of Citizen's United. You just know that equivalent amounts of money are going to go in ad campaigns against the Dems too.

8. Deadlines for the last two Republican recalls comes up this coming Monday...
Get out the rest of those signatures soon!

Apparently there were two separate recall efforts against Miller. The first had already expired, but the second one doesn't expire until this coming Wednesday. Does anyone know if the first recall effort will try to send the signatures they had to the second recall effort to "merge" them together?
