So does the Left matter or not?
You, see I'm getting mixed messages on one hand the "moderates" and "pragmatists" call us F-ing retards and tell us what we won't doesn't matter and yet if we dare consider voting for someone else who does support us we get shouted out and blamed for the SCOTUS's actions. I'm really confused, either the Left is so small that it doesn't matter, in which case quit blaming us for Gore not being president and quit complaining when we criticize this administration, or if we do matter, start listening to us and don't simply expect our support.

1. It is pretty simple.

They going to do what they plan on doing, and doesn't matter what the argument is, or if it is not what people want.

They believe might makes right and that you have to stop them, that is to make you like them, the actual goal of some groups.

Although that is not all people on right, but the conceptual arguments of those that do not care, or think in ways of consolidated wealth.

Also the ideas of those that do not correct the beer and travel money that is due.

Would you become your enemy to defeat them, they are recruiting, they want you to be as mean and ruthless as they are to defeat them, so there side will grow, since it really is not about political right or left, but changing you to be like them.

I'm listening to music mostly, it is very relaxing.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCQTr8ZYdhg

And I am due beer and travel money and many experiences. What would they want me to do to get it. Either bow to them to give them my power, or be like them and take what they have. They want you to break and submit, or destroy them to take over what they are.

I'll listen to great music I like.

Although that does not mean nothing will be done about it :) Just going to be relaxed about it. Both paths lead to same result, it is inevitable, just how rocky it gets getting there is the difference.

In a pretty good mood actually.

3. The Left needs to organize then.
If we could organize the Left, then we could start getting things done. A united Left would be a powerful force in American politics.

4. You matter, but winning your approval will alienate three moderates

You do the math. It's all a question of how many liberals vs. moderates there are out there. I think you greatly overestimate the former, you think I greatly underestimate it.

5. If you're talking about self identification, you may be right
But if you're talking about POSITIONS on issues, you're math is worng. "Liberal" POSITIONS are quite popular. 90% of self identified "moderates" hold liberal positions. If "the left" made it about POSITIONS and not labels, we'd have more influence and probably win elections.
