and even though it's the Wisconsin law.

This will give us an idea of how the Repubs. are going to behave come
Nov. 2012. Dems. must make all attempts at preventing election fraud. If we don't,
it means Good-bye to what's left of Democracy, and Hello, Dictatorship.
And this time we can be sure the Repubs. are going to go all out at election fraud.

1. That's reason enough to go ahead, in my book.
I don't think his motives involve saving the state money. It makes no sense for him to fight a recount unless they have something to hide. A 7300 vote lead is generally unassailable in an ordinary recount. I think there's a whole lot of worms in the Waukesha can.

11. I agree with you. Right-wingers are not capable to think in terms of
helping other people to save money. They haven't yet outgrown the ability to think
only of their own needs. They're still in the infantile stage of I, me, myself. The
probability of having something to hide, though, is very high.

7. The Neocons have always practiced fraud during elections, haven't they?
Cheating and lying are part of their normal way of living.

5. Why wouldn't she ask for a recount?
What are the concerns and is it costly?

9. No good reason that I can think of. The difference between the two
is less than half a percent. The state will pay for a recount.
If she wants a hand recount, she'll have to ask for it specifically.

13. It is very costly and the state is NOT going to pay for it.
The recount itself is free but the legal costs will run about a million dollars. The state will not pay a penny of that.

8. Hope the WI Dems can smell the Republican desperation
and deduce what that might mean. They've seemed desperate to avoid a recount from the start - and I don't think it's *just* about the possibility of losing.

14. If this should result in Repubs getting caught at criminal activities, and
will be sued in court for it, this would be the first time. Up till now
they've been able to flout the law with impunity -- and with the agreement
of certain Democrats.

And following this, if at least three Repub. senator should be recalled, and Walker,
himself, recalled later in January, 2012 -- that would be the day!!
