Can we have a forum for coverage of local protests?

3. I rec'd it and it came up "0"...does that mean someone

unrec'd it first? I think it would be a great idea to have a forum where we could sort of catalog how many people are working their ass off for a better country. To watch the media would be to assume that only teabags can protest.

7. I've used the state forum for Tennessee.........

AND the GD forum. The state forums don't seem to be frequented a lot. At least, not Tennessee's forum.

GD works OK for local events except for the fact that it's a BUSY forum and things get knocked down and off the front pretty quickly.

Here's one thing that we CAN do though. If you see a local event on the front page of GD, KEEP IT KICKED! Even if it's not in your area, help a brother/sister out and KEEP IT KICKED!

I would guess that IF things get heated this Summer and there turns out to be a bunch of stuff going on, maybe we could get a "local actions" forum then. I would guess that now there wouldn't be enough traffic to justify a separate forum.

Edited to add: You could also go to the "Ask the Administrators" page and see what happens there.

threads re what is being blacked out across the country.
