I think I'm going to be sick.
Mike Huckabee is on the Daily Show talking about our "christian" nation. I am so sick of this bullshit. Hey Mike, read the fucking Treaty of Tripoli which outright says "The United States was not in any sense founded on the Christan Religion." Oh and Mike, that is the law of the land, so kindly shut up!

2. That treaty was read in Congress with no dissent and published
in the major papers with no public outcry. In a day when papers were the news. The equivalent of it being read aloud on all major cable and network news broadcasts today. If you cared about foreign policy, you knew all about it.
That could not happen today. If any major legislation or treaty had that language in it, the right would go insane!

4. The black robes brought disease to the original inhabitants...
...of native nations. Sadly, Mike and other judgmental pricks insist on continuing to try to convert.

11. I am a Christian and I am glad we are not a "Christian" nation.
Especially not the way modern "Christians" have perverted the teachings of Christ. If Jesus DID come back, he would be so ashamed at the actions of many people who call themselves his followers, he would hightail it back to heaven without "rapturing" a soul.
