Walker Reacts To Kloppenburg Win: Those hippies in Madison don’t count.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6, 2011

1:58 PM: Walker: Spring election results show disparity between Madison, rest of state
Gov. Scott Walker said this afternoon that the spring election results show there are "two very different worlds in this state."

"You've got a world driven by Madison, and a world driven by everybody else out across the majority of the rest of the state of Wisconsin," Walker said at a press conference in the Capitol.

Walker said he didn't believe the election was a referendum on his policies, saying the results reinforce Wisconsin's status as a "purple" state. He attributed other victories by Dem-backed candidates outstate to local factors, while noting that conservative candidates such as Jim Ladwig in Racine also emerged victorious Tuesday. In particular, he said the results in the race for his former post as Milwaukee County executive reflected its status as a "dark blue county."

Walker added that Justice Prosser's performance in many parts of the state bodes well for GOP senators who may face recall elections later this year.

17. It should make us feel better if he really believes it.
But then, he usually lies, so probably doesn't believe a word of it.

2. yes, it's that old Republican idea
that square miles are what counts, not voters.

Same deal when they were so excited about all the red in 2008's state-by-state map.

14. Dane County (Madison) has 6% of WI's precincts
That's 248 out of 3630. So the notion that voter support contributing to Kloppenburg's victory was somehow "spotty" outside of Madison is a self-serving lie. Walker proclaims the existence of "two worlds" in the state of Wisconsin. I wonder if he also realizes that his own particular "world" has just gotten smaller? Congrats to Wisconsin and on to the recalls!!!

compared to only 10.2 last Fall.

Milwaukee is over 15% of the state vote.

28. Anyway you slice it, Walker is toast
I'm not sure whether HE realizes it just yet, and he will save face to the extent possible with ridiculous analogies, but he's already set the stage for a huge bringdown of the GOP in Wisconsin and elsewhere. Mathematically, it would be a tough sell for Walker to spin the notion that a single county ("WI World A") with 12.3% of the votes cast somehow "defeated" the other 87.7% (Walker's preferred "WI World B"). His sense of denial seems to exclude the simple fact that he's the governor of ONE state whose combined vote determines the outcome of elections.

I'm from washington state & i'm loving this! The people of Wisconsin have really ignited a much needed fire under everyone's feet that it's time to wake up and OBSERVE the fact that we are surrounded by KOCH_WHORE bought-&-paid-for elected officials who have NOT our best interests in mind but their own selfish, greedy, coroporate-bootlilcking agenda.

RECALL all of these motherf#@kers! And don't let the door hit you where jeebus split ya!
