Great news conference by WI Gov Accountability Board
Edited on Wed Apr-06-11 03:27 PM by HereSince1628
Basically laying out the expectations for how this proceeds.

No one has filed for a recount, but it is anticipated that one side will ask for the recount. It cannot happen until after all the county canvassing boards complete their work.

One of the other important things was that the cost of recount will be only a minimum fee because the vote is so close. $5 per ward

3. Actually, at this small difference, recount will be free to the loser

The $5 per ward starts when the difference is more than half of one percent, in this case about 7,000.

4. Yup. In this case, the cost to the candidate is $0
So, even though I'd personally rather see him concede gracefully (where's a "Sore Loserman" sign when you need one?) there's no reason for Prosser not to call for a recount. And you better believe that after investing millions of dollars in him, the Kochs aren't going to let him just gracefully slide away.
