4. Grassroots beats the crap out of Astroturf!
The heartland has rendered its first judgment, three months after the great conservative "victory". Recalls will follow. I hope others are taking notice. Mr. Boehner? Mr. Ryan? Mr. Kasich?

6. Wishful thinking on my part...
However, a race that would have been a lopsided incumbent win in most years went down to the wire. Conservatives should not feel too comfortable with the apparent outcome. A win is still a win, but there is no "mandate" here.

5. this starting to remind me of
the OH race where Jean Schmidt pulled away at the last second. The last couple of precincts flipped the who count.
