Former CIA analyst Michael Scheuer appeared on CNN and told his lovely blonde and brunette anchors the truth about what is really happening. The hilarious Stepford Wives reaction and the unprecedented cognitive dissonance the ensues is worth the price of admission.

2. ....

Scheuer is right; the Opposition, once in power, will not necessarily prove better for the Lybians than Ghaddaffi, as hard as that is to imagine now.

Then again; I find this whole Mujahedin/Al Kaida angle quite unconvincing. If all of those "islamic fighters" stem from Cyrenaika, then sending them off to fight in Iraq was not Ghaddafi's operation; if they are not, there is no reason to correlate the "rebels" with "Mujahedin". Seems inconsistent to me.

I'm growing more and more skeptic about the whole affair. Southern Mistral, Haftr the Virginian, the German fleet in on the game before the protests arise, danish warplanes in Italy "training for Lybia" days before the protests. Well. I thought this kind of paranoia would end once Governor Bush resigned. There's continuity where I hate to see it.

and then,..... this gem:

" The economy and the intervention in Lybia are not connected" - CNN the new FOX? Can't see the difference anymore; one is made for people who think of themselves as intelligent, one of them is made for people who know that they are stupid. Propaganda, nevertheless.

3. You can literally see the smoke coming out of their ears...
Keep in mind that these idiot talking heads make a very comfortable six-figure salary, complete with Cadillac benefits and bonuses.
