There should be a movment
for a constitutional amendment which would prohibit any business, corporation, or other non-person entity from donating to political campaigns.

Seriously, how else can progressives...and the bottom 98% actually expect to have ANY say in the political process. Obama's campaign is looking at being the first BILLION dollar campaign- and we ALL know that a large chunk of that money isn't coming from grassroots.

If Carrie Nation and the Jesus-lovin' booze-bashers could get prohibition, why can't we start a movement for honest, non-plutocratic campaigns? That should unquestionably be a bi-partisan (and third party) battle cry that all (of the regular people) can get behind.

3. Um, what's a corporation?
You could say it's a fictitious legal entity, which would be technically accurate.
You could also say it's a collection of people, which would also be technically accurate.

I see no solution, because the collection of people will donate, rather than in the name of the company.
