Gay GOP group goes birther

GOProud, the gay caucus of the Tea Party, says it agrees with GOP presidential aspirant Donald Trump’s birther assertion that President Obama may not have not born in this country and must show his birth certificate. GOProud’s Chairman Chris Barron says, “I think Mr. Trump’s position on this has been a pretty common-sense one, and honestly, I can’t understand why President Obama wouldn’t have released his birth certificate before now to put an end to this once and for all,” reports Poltico’s Ben Smith.

Baron, who is no stranger to controversy, outlandish statements, provocation, and surprisingly anti-gay positions, also added, “Organizationally it’s not a GOProud issue. Not related to any of the organization’s legislative priorities,” but, he tells Smith, “is that it’s not an issue that particularly resonates with me, but it clearly resonates with a large segment of the Republican primary.”

5. These people are human scum.

There are a lot of reactionary, fascist-minded white gay males. As a gay male, I see this quite a bit! Filled to the brim with white male entitlement, racism, and misogyny. If anything, they believe their "minority" status gives them a cover for their blatant bigotry. Sorry for the rant, but I've had my share of run-ins with these people!
