Capitalizing on the rare buzz around a state Supreme Court race, Sarah Palin has endorsed an incumbent conservative justice in Wisconsin.

“Wisconsin, please remember to vote for Justice Prosser on April 5,” Palin tweeted, urging her supporters to go to Justice David Prosser’s reelection website.

Prosser is running against state Assistant Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg, and is seen as the key to retaining a conservative majority in Wisconsin as the state continues to wrestle with Gov. Scott Walker’s push for concessions from state employee unions.

Prosser’s campaign told the Associated Press that it did not seek Palin’s endorsement.
