WTF? BBC World News isn't going to air on BBC America anymore?????
:wtf:

It's only going to be broadcast on PBS, or BBC World if your cable provider (a big fat "NO" on Comcast) carries it. ........ That blows.

1. BBC America is very disappointing. Too much fluff
Too few news discussions and documentaries.

12. Right, Primeval is on something called "Watch" and "ITV1"
Apparently those channels are only in Britain.
I read somewhere that Netflix carries Starz.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primeval

The fifth series will have 6 episodes and will air on Watch in May 2011 and on ITV1 later in 2011.

9. No such thing as too much Top Gear...
However, any amount of Gordo is too much.

10. Do you know that BBC Caribbean shut down today
http://www.bbc.co.uk/caribbean/news/story/2011/03/110325_lastweekofbroadcasting.shtml
<snip>
The origin of the Caribbean Service was a programme called Calling the West Indies.

The programme began in 1939 featuring West Indian troops on active service during World War Two reading letters to their families.

From 1943 to 1958, the output became a programme called Caribbean Voices, highlighting West Indian writers.

Its producers and contributors included VS Naipaul, George Lamming, Andrew Salkey and Samuel Selvon.

In 1949, We See Britain was introduced as part of the programming for the Caribbean under the management of cricketer-turned-producer Ken Ablack.

11. Less and less journalism = creeping information blackout
China is mandating all cell phones to have GPS trackers. Look to them as our model of authoritarianism and new world order.

I thought PBS reaches a wider audience than BBC America. Am I wrong? Is this a bad thing?

16. Rupert Murdoch's pet govt in the UK has cut the BBC so serverly they had to lay off
a bunch of people and shrink their outlets.

If you can't beat the competition, then strangle it.
