communicate with Congressional Republicans
http://www.americaspeakingout.com/

The Republicans want to hear our ideas... "We want to hear what your priorities are, so Speak Out"

"House Republicans are continuing to listen to the American people. And this week we’re starting a fresh dialogue about one of the fundamental challenges we face: our spending and debt crisis. Please share your ideas and weigh on the ideas of others about how we can begin the process to put us on a responsible fiscal path"

***I suggest we all log on and very nicely (seriously) tell them what we think are the appropriate ways to address concerns...

increase taxes on wealthy
create a universal health care system
end DOMA
create a extensive jobs program
support high speed rail and alternative energies... wind, solar, etc
etc., etc

4. They want a "robust debate"?
"It is our hope the active engagement of the American people will produce a robust debate that will aid in the construction of a new American agenda."
REALLY???
IF they actually want a robust debate and are open to hearing ideas they would be DOING it in Congress and state governments. Look how they shut out Democrats in WI and ignore people. They don't care. They don't care about people. They do not care about opinions they don't agree with. What would be the point of debate if compromise is never an option? My guess is they never look at the site - except to pull something "favorable", or the voting is rigged and certain vote tallies are limited. I remember this being an issue with Cantor's You Cut site.
