7. I watched it a couple nights ago, but have to say none of it was news.

I was ready to get blown away based on all my friends telling me how great it was. Maybe because I heard 'This American Life''s podcast 'The Giant Pool of Money' I was familiar with all the info they shared. I found some of the story toward the end a little ridiculous, as if making money in and of itself is somehow wrong.

I think the rating agencies should be out of business and their leaders in jail. I think the deregulation caused a horrendous meltdown and the rules should be changed, and maybe credit default swaps should be illegal.

Bless Matt Damon though. And it was way better than Fuel...I only got through about 10 minutes of that one.

Saw "Persepolis" (super) and will be watching "No One Knows About Persian Cats" tonight...Netflix has a pretty good collection of Iranian movies, my latest thing.

What a bunch of arrogant creeps . . . and Obama hires them and their friends to advise economic policy. They are killing the middle class - between this massive heist by Wall Street, tax cuts for the rich, budget cuts for the rest of us, and the bought and sold Congress, we are all going down.

13. Bought the DVD from Amazon . . . watched it last week with my daughter & son-in-law . . .

. . . it was the first time my son-in-law sat still and paid attention long enough to be scared (some of the documentary helped explain recent changes to pension and health insurance where he works). We plan to watch it again.
