So, we have chosen sides in Libya
and lobbed some high explosive ordnance into the Libyan military to help out the rebels. I think this may be a distraction to keep us in the dark about just how horrid the nuclear situation is in Japan...

and it is hypocritical bullshit, to boot!

1. Jeeze, the LIbyans knew just when to protest
so that their efforts could be used to keep us distracted from Japan - despite the fact that reports from Japan have been on more news outlets than Libya.

3. They've also been massacred for over a month.
Half of the deaths came before the Japan Earthquake.

5. Very convenient that we strike now...
it seems to be yet one more example of proof that the American Newswatching Public cannot focus on one topic for more than 72 hours...gotta have something new and shiny to show them...

7. Yes, but they knew to start before the earthquake started.
And Gaddafi knew just when to say "there will be no mercy".

4. Yeah, it's all about us. The whole Libyan revolt is all about distracting us from Japan.
And that Egyptian thing, that was to take our minds off it, too.

Oh, and Wisconsin: That was to turn our attention from the NCAA basketball playoffs.

6. mockery will get you everywhere...
take a look at the last 10 years at the news cycle...new major story about once a week...can't focus any longer than that...hell, even the gulf oil spill and katrina dropped below the fold after a week or so...only to pop up now and again...

and all follow merrily along...

666, the Beast, the Lions lose 16 straight.

I suggest you consult Glen Beck for insight.

12. Thank you. I am sincerely sorry I misunderstood your post from an earlier thread.
As JFK or FDR might have said, I like the cut of your jib.

10. You think the President is wagging the dog
to stop people from paying attention to Japan?

Then what was Japan? To stop people from paying attention to Wisconsin?

Don't you have better things to do, Mr. Beck? There's a can of paint thinner you could go huff.
