6. Yup. Nauseating and fairylike from the getgo.
Wouldn't you like this big shiny quarter? Pure slight of hand. The only entertaining thing about it is they've been telling us for weeks that teachers are thieves for earning $52,000 and now they're saying it'll be great when we give them all $125,000.

3. So sorry to hear that.
Wish we could count on one major broadcast network for more balanced coverage. Instead of propping up cruel modern Republican ideas, it would have been greater to see them honor our teachers and show how much most of them give to their schools and how hard most of them work.

9. So one young man makes all the hiring/firing decisions.
And, he seems like a bit of a dick. Oh no - their tests didn't turn out so well.

Did you see any kids with Downs Syndrome or a similar medical impairment? Nah. They Don't Have To Take Kids With Disabilities AND They Don't.

28. Some teachers are not effective teachers
I saw the 60 Minutes episode. I have children in school. Some of their teachers are terrific; some are far from it. A proactive school/principal/district might offer better observation and mentoring. Our schools do not. I respect educators and believe they should be well paid. My issue is that ineffective teachers are not removed from the classroom.
