The contrast between these two stories illustrates one of the most glaring problems we face as a nation today, yes - Citizens United, Campaign Finance Reform, Term Limits, the full frontal assault on Unionized Workers, fill in the issues (s) I am missing here, ________________________ are all equally important (if not more in many cases), but when we as a people are "spun" to believe what the corporations of the new global economy want us to believe we loose. And we are loosing badly.

Consider this, CNN says, "Sitting empty, Gulf Shores, Alabama, is cleaned up and ready for company." and "Gulf Shores' arms are wide open for vacationers" one would believe that there are no issues with swimming, eating from and otherwise enjoying a picturesque day at the beach.

Now consider this, from a media source that is independent of corporate control and actually reports the news without the opinion.
