that they use have no bounds. I am reminded of the way they did Kerry and Gore. They are known for dirty politics. Wisconsin is now an example of that: lie to the people and proceed in the same seedy manner as before. I think that their next target will be a rewriting of their laws to not allow recalls or anything that would interfere with their goal of taking over the country. This is some scary stuff.

1. Thank you for your concern.
This is, of course, the perfect time to strive for full demoralization of the Democrats.

2. They don't need that.
If they take the Senate they will get what they want. They have enough corporate chameleons in the Democratic Party to accomplish their goals.

4. I really don't see this happening...
I understand your fear, but it's not going to happen...

There's just been way too much publicity about what's happening in Wisconsin for the Republicans to get anywhere with their tactics.

Plus, there are simply no strong candidates to run against Obama.

5. Well, after the events in WI today
I think we are witnessing the beginning of the Republicans hanging themselves. That is if the people continue to pour into the streets and keep the pressure.

But you are correct, Democrats could benefit from learning some street fighting politics.

6. I guarantee that if the Rethugs take the presidency in 2012, then
there will be a hell of a lot more than protests going on

7. Couple that with
Obama taking regular classes for conversion to the Republican faith and because of his furtherance of right wing policies thus paving the way for them, you might as well not have an election. Part of the deal is that he will stand for re-election but run a negative campaign.

who have moved us into Repug waters -- from trade agreements to

Obama's back room deals with Big Pharma and the private health care

industry --

also providing BILLIONS from the stimulus package in contracts for them --

Here's Rahm Emmanuel "crowing" about that and how business should be GRATEFUL to Obama!!

Rahm .... crowing about preserving "private health care industry" ... business s/b grateful

from DU 8/12/10

”In a Thursday interview, White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel argued that rather than recoiling against Obama, business leaders should be grateful for his support on at least a half-dozen counts: his advocacy of greater international trade and education reform open markets despite union skepticism; his rejection of calls from some quarters to nationalize banks during the financial meltdown; the rescue of the automobile industry; the fact that the overhaul of health care

preserved the private delivery system;

the fact that billions in the stimulus package benefited business with lucrative new contracts, and that financial regulation reform will take away the uncertainty that existed with a broken, pre-crash regulatory apparatus.

If that doesn't make you sick to your stomach -- nothing will!!
