Eau Claire (WQOW) - More than 1,600 protesters taking to the streets. That was the scene along Craig Road in Eau Claire Saturday morning, as they voiced their opposition to Governor Walker's budget legislation. Meanwhile, supporters of the governor rallied inside a nearby hotel. That group was smaller--around 200.

The pro-Walker rally was held at the Holiday Inn and was part of a statewide bus tour put on by Americans for Prosperity. The organization and those who rallied Saturday say they stand by the governor and his attempts to control state spending.

-snip-

There'd have been almost no signs at the rally to support Walker if they hadn't handed people those little signs.

The demographics of the two groups are strikingly different, too.

1. What good is a rally *inside a hotel?*
Except, of course, that instead of having to haul your fat old ass through the snow, you can suck down your coffee and doughnuts and stay warm while you hold up your professionally-printed signs for the "news" media, who also want to stay warm inside and have coffee and doughnuts.

4. You use mass produced signs to reduce the # of misspellings. It also reduces
the number of racist and violent signs.
