Bachmann calls on Obama to apologize for ObamaCare 'fraud'
http://www.startribune.com/politics/blogs/117423103.html?elr=KArksLckD8EQDUoaEyqyP4O:DW3ckUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aUgOy9cP3DieyckcUsI

Minnesota Republican Michele Bachmann called Friday on President Obama to apologize for his landmark health care overhaul, which she called “legislative fraud of the highest order.”

A White House spokesman declined to comment.

Her congressional office issued two statements several hours apart, both lamenting that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act – ObamaCare in GOP parlance – locks in some $105 billion in future spending to expand health care coverage, set up insurance exchanges, and pay for the nuts and bolts of the new health care law.

Such “advance appropriations,” Bachmann said, make it difficult for current and future Congresses to defund the bill, the GOP’s fallback position in light of the long odds against repeal.

Democrats argue that the main provisions of the multi-year health care bill, which passed a year ago in March after more than a year of debate, are not exactly secret.

Said Bachmann spokesman Doug Sachtleben: “She’s just trying to hit the point that there are things that were buried. Certainly they were in the legislation, but not highlighted in the way they should have been.”

Asked whether Bachmann is alleging any illegal acts, Sachtleben demurred, “It’s more impropriety.”

create their own programs and if it is better than his he will help them. Where is her plan? She has all those pro-life bulletin boards up in her district saying how every child is a blessing and the child on the picture is obviously disabled. So come on Michele lets hear your plan to help take care of those babies on those boards for the next 50-60 years of their lives. I am anxious to hear it as my child is one of them. She is a blessing but she is also going to die without government health care programs.

8. The Healthcare System In America Is Complicated And All Encompassing.....
And The Patient Protection And Affordable Care Act is very comprehensive in its approach to it. All one has to do is go through the table of contents of the law. It addresses all aspects of the system. I know that some of the criticism was that the bill was some 2000 pages long. Well it had to be because of the intricacies of the system. If all aspects of the healthcare system weren't address in the law and it was only 100 pages long they would have criticized it for not being comprehensive or all encompassing.

If anyone wants to get a good idea of how well this law was written all one needs to do is go through its table of contents. I applaud the writers of this law and the comprehensive job they did drafting it. They did and excellent job of thinking through the intricacies and addressing them. They did it in such a way that the rollout of it until it really takes hold in 2014 will allow those in the healthcare system to ease into it and make the necessary adjustments in order to make its implementation seem seamless.

If anyone needs to be criticized its those congressmen and senators that didn't take the time to review this law. And if Michelle Bachmann is still criticizing it now its only because she has finally realized what a masterful work it really is.
