More shenanigans from Wisconsin. $7.5 million to remove tape residue from marble. Funny considering protesters were taking care to use non-residual painter's tape.

3. Was just going to post this when I saw your topic. This claim is one of the craziest yet.
As you said, they were using the approved tape.

I'm seeing a lot of jokes on Twitter that the $7.5 million would be a no-bid contract given to the Koch brothers...

17. Things cost a wee bit more with Republicans in charge...
Here's what needs to be done:

Follow these steps to remove adhesive tape stains from Acrylic Plastic, Alabaster, Asphalt, Chromium, Copper Enamel, Glass Linoleum, Marble, Pewter, Platinum, Plexiglas, Vinyl Clothing, Vinyl Tile and Vinyl Wallcovering:

•Scrape to remove any excess.
•Do not use an abrasive product.
•Dip a clean sponge or cloth into warm sudsy water and rub the gummy matter.
•The warm water will soften the tape so it can be removed with the sponge or cloth.
•Rinse with warm water and wipe dry with a clean cloth.

$7.5 million for this? I think Dems could do it for a lot less, and still pay union wages.

14. They will lie
They will cheat.

They will steal.

They will take anything not nailed down.

What, you thought just because they were caught red-handed, these fuckers would just shrug and say, "You caught me"? No, these motherfuckers are motherfuckers because they fuck mothers. And fathers. And children. And household pets. That's what they do. That's who they are.

19. Wow! That's another sign of desperation.
More corporate Republican, wacky, loony shenanigans!

A couple thousand bucks to remove the tape residue and the rest goes in a favored crony's pocket. Weee! That is, if there were anything to repair or cleanup.

Shhh! That's their version of fiscal responsibility and balanced budgets. Typical, these days.

are making the most of their Democratic congresspeople being away from the capitol. They don't realize that they are just making themselves look more and more petty.
