NY Post - "Wis. kid is GOP's sudden White House star" - Promotes Walker For President In 2012
Rupert Murdoch's NY Post is already beginning to promote Scott Walker for President in 2012 due to his anti-union stand. With the backing of News Corp and millions of unlimited support from the Chamber of Commerce, 2012 will shape up as the battle to kill unions once and for all. A referendum on the rights that workers before us fought for and bled for.

For months now, Republicans have turned to each other and said, "Who's the candidate?"

President Obama is vulnerable in 2012, clearly, but you can't beat something with nothing, and right now, the GOP field looks pretty much like . . . nothing.

Who'll have the stature to compete? Thanks to those Democratic lawmakers fleeing Wisconsin and Indiana to frustrate the democratic process they swore an oath to uphold, we may have an answer.

They, and the demonstrators screaming about the governors seeking cuts in the absurdly generous benefits granted to public-sector workers, have created a national stage on which a new and dynamic candidate can emerge.

1. They do tend to pick the craziest, stupidest ones, don't they?
It's like they have this competition to see who can be the dumbest, nastiest, most off-the-wall batshit crazy asshole -- and that one's gotta be the nominee. Walker is Palin in drag, and possibly even dumber. A C-student college dropout, arrogant fundie tinpot dictator. Perfect!

2. LOL. Walker will be eligible for 'recall' next January.
He will be a half-term governor just like Palin.
I guess the Republican TeaParty could run a Walker/Palin ticket !!! LOLOLOLOL!

5. I am starting to think Walker was a hail mary play

The Koch Brothers, Murdoch and the other Corporate overlords of the GOP plan to build Walker as a reformer, someone that can stand up to the evil union and win. Seeing that no GOP candidate has a chance against Obama, they were making Walker the 'ultimate' 'outsider' candidate. Too bad for them that Walker fumbled the snap.

11. Too Late For 2012...This Is For 2016...
Any serious 2012 candidate better be off and running...or making the motions. They will need to come up with several million just to ante into the primaries. Wanker's too late for this dance...and too unknown, but there's definitely 2016 being waved out there. And that's what many rushpublicans are looking at. They see the polls that show their field is very weak against an incumbent and relatively popular President. The "winner" of the GOTB nomination next year will be at a disadvantage unless something catastrophic occurs. The "new" crop of rushpublicans like Crispy in New Joisy and Wanker are looking at the next real shot a rushpublican could win and that's the manuevering going on. Notice how the focus is away from the current lot of presidential "wannabes"...Murdoch knows there's nothing but losers in that field.
