4. Have you noticed all of the commercials running on local TV
for Range Resources and the rest of the drillers? They are trying their hardest to sway public opinion, but I think most people don't want it anywhere near their homes and their kids' schools.

6. Yeah, they show the farmers talking about how rich they're getting.
Meanwhile, the neighbors whose safety, environment, and property values have been destroyed no longer speak to them.

8. Have you noticed how tv has become nothing more than a propaganda machine
in addition to wall to wall advertising?

Which is why we no longer have one.

12. The ads are disgusting lies. I went in a bank recently that had a huge
stand up poster, 4ft x 6ft, for a meeting with interested people. :puke:

I understand how desperate some are for money, but to destroy our children's/grand-children's future for temporary help is just sickening. No forethought at all, it seems, to future consequences.

I hope to move from this state by end of the year, or sooner if possible. Had enough of this selfish redneck area.

3. These Marcellus Shale people don't know what the HELL they are doing.
Range Resources can run ads 24 hours a day, on every network in Pittsburgh telling us how safe it all is, and the farmers are all getting rich, and they're just providing so many jobs! It's propaganda on a scale I've never witnessed.

Bullshit. I call bullshit on it all. And the king bullshitter is our Governor, Tom CorporateWhorebett.

The state is going up in flames, literally and figuratively.

...and still the Marcellus Shale industry pays no extraction taxes...no extraction taxes...no extraction taxes.

7. 41,000 working people lost their insurance in Pennsylvania yesterday.
CorporateWhoreBett could have seen to it that they had insurance...he could have charged the Marcellus Shale drillers an extraction tax.

It's the fair thing to do, and it's the decent thing to do. Oh wait...
