"Republican party chiefs in the US have announced that the party is to break up and will no longer contest elections. The decision was attributed to widespread disillusionment among party activists who have decided that it’s no fun adopting policies and candidates that could only be part of an elaborate practical joke, if the entire electorate is just too thick to notice.

‘It’s not like we were subtle about it,’ said senior Republican John Boehner, ‘We thought in a country like this we had no chance against an ordained minister like Jimmy Carter in 1980, so just for kicks we set up Ronald Reagan, a twice-divorced Hollywood actor with the brains of a radiator as the Christian candidate against him. And he won. Twice. Holy fucking crap, how did we get away with it?’"

(OK...it is satire...but just barely...)

(NOTE:this is a British website...which explains why they're a bit unclear about some details of U.S. political history...as in their notion that Jimmy Carter was an "ordained minister").

1. Yes but there can be biting truth in satire.

2. "George W. Bush, an educationally sub-normal alcoholic draft dodger"

3. Here is the thought process on that.

If someone has faith, then that is what will matter, they will be protected and elevated.

Or the weak are used to humble the group without faith.

So if a person, with just faith in God, can make it, that shows that faith is most important. Although that is not in my view suppose to be about elevating 'faith' but because faith opens conduits.

As I said years ago, something supernatural that just wants worship, is not what I think of as God, I believe God also wants better effects for people. I would not worship something that just wants worship. That is prideful. If a messed up person that hurts many people, is allowed to make it with just faith, it is not helping people think that faith is best. That is the side that smears faith, and treats wrongly the better concept of love and helping people.

However I do see that jokes are played on many people by spiritual things that hate people, on the other side many spiritual things try to help people and are rarely seen or spoken of, because it isn't about them.

Those are the good angels, and if showing some of there wonderful things, even if hidden behind some layers of faults, is possible, I think they deserve some credit for the loving kindness, and better thoughts they share with many people.

And if you think 'knowledge of good and evil' is smarts, I disagree with you, although smarts aren't most important either.

I think 'knowledge of good and evil' is thinking you know what is better or worse in absolutes, that with fear, can stop learning or growing.

Although I could be wrong.

I do know there are some that elevate people to make a joke of people, and some that try to make things better for many people, and those are different spiritual things.
