I didn't like Rachel Maddow doing her show from that tavern.
For one reason.

There was too much yelling and whooping, that drowned Rachel out many times and made it hard to follow her train of thought.

1. Practice listening
to professors in large crowded classrooms half full of high schoolers.

2. Get your hearing checked.
I have poor hearing, but I didn't have a problem hearing what she said.
I thought the sound crew did a fine job.

9. Good place for our side. Where would Faux Snooze go?
Banks? A billionaire's mansion? Ghadafi's tent? A false religion "church?"

10. I wouldn't like it every show
but she picked topics that it was nice to see public passion for. The "otherside" of the debate constantly show over the top emotion on these subjects. It was nice to send a message the liberal view isn't a view of convenients, it is something people hold dearly.

17. Well, I doubt if it would happen on "every" show, but
was a nice change of pace to get an audience, since the MSNBC shows usually don't have a studio audience to react to the hosts.

11. I didn't mind it, it was a change from a talking head at a desk
I didn't watch much of it, I admit, just tuned into the rebroadcast because someone online had mentioned it.

It was raucous but it was successful in what it attempted to do, counter the teabagger noise with a little union noise.

I'm old and I didn't have any trouble hearing her.

14. I missed a few words she said but on the whole it was awesome
She needs to do that more often, for her own enjoyment. I could tell she loved it.

16. I wouldn't want to see it as a nightly, or even weekly thing, but
it doesn't bother me at all on an occasional basis...let her bask in the love of her admiring fans every once in a while!

19. I absolutely agree with you there.
Especially when she pointed out how the worst of the "pro-life" goons are from other states, like California.

21. When she broadcast from an Alaska tavern
before the election, they made a point of telling everyone to keep it down when she was talking, and it seemed like we did. (You guys who watched it would probably know.) I was kind of surprised the people in Kansas were so noisy, but I could still hear Rachel okay.
