Here's another way to help in Madison
A relative at the TAA (Teaching Assistants' Association) sent the following email:

"Tell them (the people who want to help out with donations) we are working on a paypal account, but in the meantime the
best thing that they can do is to order food for volunteers from Madison
Fresh Market at (608) 287-0000. (healthy food is preferred.) It can be
delivered to the TAA offices at 254 W Gilman. The phone number for the
TAA is (608) 256-4375 and the website is http://taa-madison.org/."

Thanks for your help, everyone!

Thank you, eleny!
That helps.

Defend Wisconsin is also their Twitter handle, if anyone wants to follow.

3. They are sending fresh vegetable trays, fruit trays and trays of wraps.
I told them whatever they thought was best was OK and gave them my cc number and name. It will be sent tomorrow lunchtime!

Also told them I found their name on DU and that I was calling from CT.

If you can, give them a call and get some of their good, fresh food to the good folks at the capital...

8. UPDATE on TAA donations
Just got a call from the folks at TAA who are enjoying their wraps and fresh fruit. They said to say,

THANK YOU!!! It meant a lot to all the volunteers and TAA staff.

9. Kicking for the morning crowd who want to help
The TAA could use some non-perishable things, too, like granola bars, juice, bananas/apples...things like that.

What does the TAA do?
--Conduct peaceful resistance training
--Act as marshals in the Capitol (the green vest folks)
--Staff and supply the Information Station
--Print and hand out signs
--Meet with legislators
--Lots more

11. Looks like they have a PayPal donations link set up
It's on the right side of this page. http://www.defendwisconsin.org/

Do you think this is the one to use so they can buy the meals they need for the folks at the Capitol?
