I got really curious about all the new teabagger governors being on the same page

in regard to union-busting in a jam-it-down-their-throats fashion.

After watching this gut-wrenching video of a Wisconsinite Democrat talking on the senate floor, I wanted to know what the political make-up of Wisconsin's legislature was before & after last election.

I've had private suspicions of the sweeping success of the looney teabaggers who are supported by the Koch brothers & other corporations, but especially now with this new coordinated effort to get rid of unions.

Here's a chart, & please forgive how messily the columns line up):
Wisconsin State Assembly

Party.......As of November 1, 2010..........After the 2010 Election
Democratic Party..........50......................................38
Republican Party..........45......................................60
Independent....................2........................................1
Vacancy..........................2.........................................-
Total..............................99.......................................99

2. The people who won legislative seats in Wisconsin
this time around won by narrow margins. They, and the new teagagger governors had a lot of money behind them from Club for Growth and similar dubious organizations.

They are on the same page because they were bought and paid for. The Koch brothers and the other groups who paid for their campaigns told them what they wanted them to do after they were elected, and they are doing it. This is a well-timed attack by the wealthy sponsors of the so-called tea party. This has been planned for years.

4. Their big corporate money can buy a lot of things. That governor seems to have the charisma of
a rock.

5. No, there's nothing new about it. And GWB didn't win 2000 or 2004, either.

7. There's always new rw political violence -- every time an election is stolen, for one. --
ALL of these issues are old -- all long settled -- simply being put thru the

propaganda noise machine again by the right wing --

issues of unions long settled -- but that has stopped decades long attacks on

unions by every foul means -- including use of the MAFIA!!

Al Gore won 2000 -- trust we all know that by now!

Just another stolen election --

6. Yes, this is a well coordinated effort
Their goal is to gut the only funding left of the Democratic party and make this a one party country. In other words to make America a fascist state. That is what we are up against.

coordination.

So they are in trouble, and going down. Just trying to take the best route possible to do that.

10. So we've been talking about it for ten years now.
What are we going to do? Maybe we need a grass roots movement to make it mandatory for a non-partisan third party to hand count all the ballots in every precinct just to keep the election officials honest.

12. Not even blatant, in-your-face corruption is looked into. There are no checks & balances
of any consequence, so I understand election reform doesn't appear reachable.

This last election seemed to make a lot of Republican monkey business very convenient.

19. And don't forget that the new RNC president's
law partners here in WI are now doing the redistricting of the state. We're sunk.

Walker also wants to separate the Madison campus from the University system...I wonder what the rules for students will be as far as political actions in school if that happens. And scientific developments in medicine will be geared toward money making chemistry - think viagra and spanish fly type meds instead of cancer research or stem-cell research.

20. It was a massive fail by the Democratic Party
The top leaders of the party took the whole thing down with the botched health care reform courtesy of the US senate.
The stimulus was a joke and was mostly trickle down nonsense. Rightly or wrongly the party in power always suffers when capitalism goes through its classic spasms. Blaming it on voter fraud is just a cop out since you can only steal a close election. Even in 2004 59 millio voted for the shrub. The average voter knows he's getting the short end of stick and a lot of voters stay away from the polls in midterms which makes it easier for the party not in power to gather votes,
At the 2008 Dem convention all I saw inside were lobbyist for the big money. No wonder the Dems can't get anyone excited. Just watching Max Baucus slowly roast health care reform was enough to make me ill.
