Consensus, corncensus, whatever, can't remember when Shrubby or his Dad asked for Consensus, yet Democrats seem to ask all the time.

They want to shrink the government, have the government do nothing. Doing nothing doesn't require consensus.

It's built into their philosophy not to need it.

Democrats do, so I don't see anything wrong with trying for it.

12. I don't know about consensus, but as I remember Dwight D Eisenhower

was a pretty impressive president for all America. One of his last speeches before leaving office was a definitive warning about the military industrial complex.
