Progressive Wisconsin legislators show their solidarity with the protesters
<snip>

Progressive legislators raised an outcry about the governor’s threats and, as the workers rallied outside the Capitol, a cheer went up when the crowd saw three legislators—Democrats Mark Pocan, Cory Mason and Sondy Pope-Robert—come to the window of a hearing room and unfurl a banner that declared: “Solidarity!”

8. I somewhat disagree.
The followers are idiots. The leaders are psychopaths.

Scott Mubarak is definitely a psychopath. Not stupid, but malign.

7. Walker never should has said National Guard!

I'm sure none of the other states trying to crimp unions will do that.

And in other baleful labor news the New Hampshire house passed right to work yesterday.

K&R!

10. A huge disinformation campaign
funded by C of C, Wis Manufacturers & Commerce & various similar shadowy sources empowered by Citizens United.

That, combined by a lack of enthusiasm on the part of the usual liberal volunteer armada.

12. We moved to Wisconsin in 1961.
Among the primary reasons were the schools and Wisconsin's reputation for progressive ideas. Gaylord Nelson was the Gov. at the time. He went on to create Earth Day and promote the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act and the E.P.A.
