Glenn Beck Fears Museís Grammy Performance Was Ďa Call for Revolutioní

If there's anything Glenn Beck loves more than Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, it's the British rock band Muse. "Amazing," he tweeted about their last album. "These guys are right on the money. Lyrics on target, talent off the charts. They 'get it'." Now, though, Beck finds himself in the awkward position of renouncing his love, since Muse's performance at the Grammys last night included dancing protesters and the famous picture taken of Prince Charles and Camilla while their car was attacked by students in London. "You have basically a call for revolution by this group," said Beck on his radio show this morning, though he added helpfully, "Now you have to remember that these are Europeans and they have been degraded for a very long time, really since the beginning of time. They have had very few glimpses of real freedom."

4. It was, Glenn.
.... just not the kind of revolution you have in mind. Your kind won't be the defiant patriots, they will end up hung.

5. Someone should tell Glenn to lighten up
If you like a band, just enjoy the music. You don't ALWAYS have to try to find some hidden message. Overanalysis ruins music anyway.

7. Does Beck still have his university? Is anyone enrolled?
If so, they should be deprogrammed and then sue him, big time. It is money wasted, for sure.

9. BeckU is still around...
It's hardly accredited or anything...the site's actually hosted on GlennBeck.com, not an .edu address.

But Beck U is the biggest piece of irony I've ever seen...and liberals are the ones that indoctrinate. Right, Glenn. And we're the ones with programs called "Presidents You Should Hate". And the ones with the motto "Revolution against tyrants, submission to God."

12. And as we know, hereditary rulers like Prince Charles have always been the vanguard of real freedom
Edited on Tue Feb-15-11 11:26 PM by kenny blankenship
If there were more of the Royal breed still surviving in Europe, Europeans doubtlessly would understand more about the "real freedoms" Beck speaks of. Alas, their noble lineages have been cut off here and there through lawless revolts of the masses, and surviving branches of royalty have been degraded--by contaminating contact with the commoners no doubt--to the point where they often exhibit unhealthy genetic abnormalities. Mr. Beck is one of the few Americans who truly grasp this tragic miscarriage of history, and it must weigh terribly on his beautiful mind. What a treasure he is.
