HELP IRAN NEXT! The movement starts Feb 14th. Details inside.
Iran’s Green Movement is preparing to demonstrate on Monday in support of the uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt, whether the regime approves or not.

And Iran's government appears to be fearful.

Muhammad Sahimi writes at the Tehran Bureau:

Terrified by the prospects of large demonstrations on Monday February 14, the regime has arrested a large number of people and has ratcheted up its pressure on the leaders of the Green Movement.

Since Wednesday afternoon, access to the Internet has become very difficult in Iran. Access to the blog hosting service WordPress has been entirely blocked (or “filtered,” in the officially favored term) to all Iran-based Internet users in a move evidently intended to curtail the dissemination of information about February 14 events.

Update: Green Movement leader Mehdi Karroubi has been placed under house arrest.

4. The Green Movement is anti-Ahmadinejad, and refers to...
Green Movement refers to a series of actions after the 2009 Iranian presidential election, in which protesters demanded the removal of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from office. Green was initially used as the symbol of Mir Hossein Mousavi's campaign, but after the election it became the symbol of unity and hope for those asking for annulment of what they regarded as a fraudulent election. Mir Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi are recognized as political leaders of the Green Movement. Hossein-Ali Montazeri was also mentioned as spiritual leader of the movement.Witnesses to Green Movement protests often claim that protests of this size have not been seen in Iran since the 1979 revolution.
