In London yesterday lawyers for WikiLeaks? founder, Julian Assange, argued against his extradition to Sweden. They say Swedish prosecutors have already had ample opportunity to question Assange about possible charges of sexual misconduct and that in Sweden he could not be guaranteed a fair trial. Supporters of Assange claim the probe is, in part, retaliation for the release of a thousands of classified documents - documents that have embarrassed U.S. diplomats and are also said to have played a role in recent protests in the Arab world.
