LOLZ ChristinePAC will enable me to counter the liberal-controlled GOP establishment
A strong ChristinePAC will enable me to counter the liberal-controlled GOP establishment in upcoming Congressional Primaries. Remember, for primary challengers to win, conservatives needs to start organizing now in 2011 - or else candidates who reflect our values won't be able to run an effective 2012 campaign.

1. Wow. What an odd thing. ChristinePAC thinks the GOP is too liberal, and DU thinks...
... Obama is the second coming of Ronald Reagan.

:toast: :silly: :wtf: :dunce: :tinfoilhat:

3. Please let me interpret 'Christine-Speak' for everyone
Christine-speak: A strong ChristinePAC will enable me to counter the liberal-controlled GOP establishment in upcoming Congressional Primaries.

English: A strong ChristinePac will enable me to pay my rent and live a fun life of travel and partying while I get ready for another unsucessful senate race run in 2012. Look out Tom Carper here I come!

5. Is she in debt from her campaign? I know a lot of the unsuccessful T-bag candidates from this past

election now have a mountain of debt.

9. Oh she had over a million left over - probably because she didn't want to win that race
God forbid she'd actually win and have to work a real job for 6 years.

There have been some comments made that she had over $1 million left and she basically stopped campaigning so she could hold on to that money and convert it to a PAC. You can't spend campaign funds on personal use but you can convert campaign funds to PAC money and THEN you can use it for personal use.

6. If anyone is expert in running a losing campaign, Christine is it.
I guess she found another rent-paying scheme, ChristinePAC.

8. She has over $600,000 left from her campaign
At least in onshore banks. No one knows how much she has in Switzerland or the Islands.

11. It was closer to 1 million
she pretty much didn't want to win that election (not that she had a chance). She wanted to pocket the cash.

17. Don't forget pioneering professional loser Alan Keyes.
IIRC, he had himself on his campaign payroll as a paid candidate.

7. The GOP is fast becoming the new grifters cash cow. I imagine
it's cutting in to the pocketbooks of all those TV preachers by now. Same crowd, different spin.

12. As much as I love to bash the GOP, I wouldn't lump her with them
The GOP both at the state & national level did everything in their power to support Mike Castle, who is a moderate republican and one of the nicest GOPers you'll ever meet. I wouldn't vote for the guy but he wasn't skeevy like so many other republicans.

The GOP knew he was a sure win for Joe Biden's old seat and even the Dems knew it. Beau Biden skipped running for his dad's seat knowing there was a good chance he might lose and the Dems decided to toss in a nobody to run against Castle - which was Chris Coons. I think the Dems figured this was a good way to get Coons noticed state wide and perhaps start building him for future races. Thing is NO ONE expected O'Donnell to do the upset Mike Castle but that's what happens when you have a closed primary. The moderate Dems and Independants that kept re-electing Castle in the general election could do nothing to save him in the primaries.

The GOP both on the state and national level made the maximum donations allowable for the race but they provided absolutely no other support for her whatsoever. Castle wouldn't even endorse her - why should she after the accusations she made about his sexual orientation and comments like "put your man pants on". She practically accused him of stalking her outside of her apartment (or at least his goons, which Castle isn't the type of person to have 'Goons'). Chris Coons pretty much coasted to an easy victory. His goal was simple - keep to the issues and just shut up when O'Donnell started baffling nonsense (which she did alot).

The GOP would love nothing more than to find a way to keep her from ever running for office again.

From what I've seen, all they'd have to offer her was a vacation in the Bahamas. She'd need to board a small plane to fly to Miami though...

20. Christine said the liberals tried to destroy her
Yes, Christine, we did.

But put yourself in our shoes: If the Democrats would have run a candidate who had "dabbled in witchcraft" the Tea Party would have had a field day.
